* I went to Lincoln
Elementary and Emerson Jr. High with many
friends who went on to PHS. Every time there is
a reunion I am notified and told that I have to
go...and I do. My sister-in-law, Robin (Stranigan)
Long is the latest person to tell me to
register, so I finally did. I actually
graduated from Western Christian High in 1972.
I know this seems a bit odd...but the class
always seems to want me there. I think some of
them actually think I graduated with them!

Tell us what's
happened to you since high school
(Feel free to tell us THE WHOLE STORY):
When I finished high school I waited to go to college
until I was in my mid
twenties. I ended up going to Nursing School at Azusa Pacific University .
Dan and I married soon after I graduated. I became a School Nurse and ended up
receiving a credential during the time Dan and I were starting our
family. We have two children, Ricky and Rachel. Then I went on to get a
Masters in Educational Administration (M.Ed Adm) and then a Masters of
Science in Health Care Adminsitration. I've Coordinated Health Services, but
went back to hands on nursing when we moved down to be near my parents in
Temecula. I am also teaching Community Health Nursing for Azusa Pacific
University RN to BSN online classes. My family has always been very active;
camping, boating, Rachel cheerleading and now college; Ricky a musician. Dan has
always been a car guy at home and at work. He is a Fleet Manager for Crown
Toyota in Ontario . |
