happened to you since high school

Married? Kids?
Jeff Mcleod and I have been together (again!)for 23 years...we are
celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary in September 2008.

Career? Job?
I am now on my third "career job", after working at Miller's Outpost for 13
years (1972-1985), I was a manager at Long's Drug Stores for nearly 20
years(1988-2007), and I am now settled in as the Gift Shop Manager at
Inter-Community Hospital in Covina.

Where do you
live?
We are still in the same home in West Covina that
we have lived in for the
past 20 years...and will probably continue to stay until our youngest
daughter, Lacey now 17, graduates from high school in 2009 and decides were
she's headed for college
|

Which of your
classmates
are you most curious about?
Steve Tiritilli (I can remember him taking us to
the beach, scaring us
to death playing "chicken" on Brea Canyon Rd., I haven't seen him since high
school)
Beth Bojanek (An old friend of both Jeff and I, sorry to say we've
lost touch
in the last few years.)
Melanie Fowlkes (We both think of her fondly and haven't seen/heard
of her
in years, at least since the "informal girls reunion" brunch, back before the
20th reunion.)
We enjoyed seeing everyone at the 30th reunion and looking forward to #40 in
2012! (Hey Randy Credico! We've looked for you out at the fair the last
couple of years...let's try to meet up again at the races! Kenny Orabona is
still at
his "regular spot"!)

What was your
favorite music then? Favorite song?
Like most of us... Led Zepplin, Stones,
everything Motown, Chicago, CSNY...
Favorite song???? Color my World.
We went to see Bruce Springsteen at the Honda Center a few months ago-nobody
better than The Boss. With a couple of 18 and 17 year olds and all their friends
around, we are constantly bombarded with some really diverse "music"...although
I would have to say that I actually like Muse, Atreyu, and a few of the other
bands the kids listen to.

What is the
best CD you've listened to recently?
My favorites now include: Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton,
Sheryl Crow, Sarah
McLachlan, Neil Young, Chris Isaak, Tracy Chapman, U2, and many others...
(Obviously, I still really enjoy a wide variety of music.)
Most recent favorite: AMERICA: A TRIBUTE TO HEROS
The girls mix their own - that's about all I get to hear anymore.

What is the
best book you have read lately?
I read alot of books... Everything by Stephen King, John Grishom,
Anne Rivers
Siddons, Richard North Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman, Stuart Woods, and most
by Tom Clancy, Patricia Cornwell, Dick Francis, Dean Koontz, Nicholas Evans,
and really too many others to continue listing...
Most recent favorite: Tell Me Lies by Jennifer Cruise (Funny!)
No time to read these days- I'll pick it back up again when I
retire! HA

What is the
best movie you've seen lately?
Being the mom of two "hip and trendy" pre-teen girls, I go
to ALOT of movies!
Haven't been to the theater in several years. Choices are not
very compelling, I guess.

Comments:
Lacey is captain of her varsity volleyball
team this year at San Dimas High School. She has been playing all year round for
the past 2 years with Club West in La Verne. Needless to say, Jeff and I have
been very busy with tournaments about every other weekend all over SoCal, and
driving her to 3-4 hr practices 5 days a week. Whew!
I'm told we'll "miss all that" when it's finally time to send her off to
college...I'm not so sure. Take care, everyone!
