Tell us what's
happened to you since high school
(Feel free to tell us THE WHOLE STORY):
5/13/2002
After high school, I attended Mt SAC, to
eventually become a flight attendant (at that time stewardess). Before I was
able to get a job with an airline, I met Mark Gifford (Claremont Class of '68)
and we were married in March, 1975.
I began working for Wells Fargo Bank the same
year. I am still married to Mark and working for Wells Fargo. Mark is a middle
school science teacher in Walnut. We lived in Pomona until 1994, when we moved
with our two girls and a dog to Upland. Sara, our oldest daughter is 21 and will
be graduating from the University of La Verne on May 25, 2002. She still lives
at home and we love having the opportunity to continue to enjoy her company. She
also works full time at Wells Fargo and will probably continue in her career
with the company after graduation. Heather, our second daughter, is soon to be
17 and a junior at Upland High School. She's on Varsity Girls Tennis. She is
working very hard at keeping good grades and studying for SATs. She is planning
on attending Azusa Pacific University, University of Redlands or University of
Riverside and loves her psychology classes. She's great fun and a wonderful
companion.
As you can see, I have not moved far from
home, had various marriages or employers. I am really not a fan of making life
changes. However, life is good and God has been great!
