December 2008

Just updating new email addy. Am still in cold Mt. Ida, Arkansas. Wish everybody a Merry Christmas and A happy 2009. Does anybody know what Jeff Miller Passed away from?? Been trying to find out and nobody seems to know what happened to him. I have some information on Mrs. Jeppeson. She has moved from Pomona CA to Nebraska. I do not want to give out her new info until I hear from her. I sent her a Christmas Card, and when I hear from her I will give it out if she wants me to. She is alive and well for a lady of her age. She is in her 80's now and was teaching English at one of the colleges. Will tell more when I hear from her. She has no computer, so anything sent to her will have to be snail mail.
TTFN, Love to all, Pam

Well, I was at the 2002 reunion. So you know from 72 to 02. I have moved to Beautiful Mt. Ida, Arkansas. I know where in the world is that??? It is about 40 miles in between Hot Springs, and Mena, Arkansas. I moved here on Jan. 28, 2008. My dad and sister (Barbara G. Broersma, Sprague, class of 69 for any of you that had brother's or sisters in that time era at PHS, please have them email me and I will send it on to her) Dad and sis live here. They moved out here in 99 and 00. I started taking vacations here in 05 during different seasons. We have the 4 actual seasons here. Anyway, my dad is 86 years old and so I decided that my body with arthritis, could stand the weather here and moved. I am actually happier here than I was in Pomona. Will try to keep in touch with any that I have email or snail mail addy's for. Was saddened by the news of Jeff Miller. It didn't say what he died from. I was actually up in Idaho on vacation at the time of his death and only found out about it today. (the day before his birthday) My dad found out in June that his half sister Kay is dyeing of cancer, so we went up there to see her. We left Aug.16, and returned Aug 30 or so. She was under going some new treatments for her cancer, and was doing quite well from it. But, she had another MRI and it showed that the cancer is back really worse and is now undergoing chemo treatments.... So, we will see what happens. She is only 9 years older than me. All we can do at this point is pray for her. My sister is living about 3 miles away from me. She lives with my dad and takes care of him. I am not able to drive anymore, so they are my source of transportation. Will write later. TTFN, Love to anybody who reads this. Pam

Hi hope this gets to you. Have been problems trying to contact former classmates. I just found out about Jeff Miller Sunday night, and am trying to find out what happened to him. Nothing was said about that. I don't remember in the obit about him having a big brother named Mike Miller. My sister Barbara dated Mike when they were in Jr. high and High School. I have moved to Mt. Ida, Arkansas as of Jan. 28, 2008. Am quite happy here. Live about 3 miles from my dad and sister. They are my main source of transportation. I live within walking distance to the Church that we attend. And I can walk to our little town square. We have a whaoppin 981 people give or take a few, living in Mt. Ida. So it is a small little country town. Have been working on my arts and crafts and even entered some of them in our County Fair this year. Won first place on all of them except for my Peach Preserves. I won Second Place on them.   TTFN, Love, Pam

Career? Job?

Went to SBVC and got my AA degree in Computer Science. Was working at the college for a while and then became too disabled with Arthritis to be able to work. So just work on my various arts and crafts, watch TV, and read some.

Where do you live?
