What have I been doing? Two marriages, 3 kids, a
cross-country move, 3 stepchildren, grandchildren, & gave up a nice cushy office
job to raise turkeys. Second marriage to Rusty in 1994. I have 2 sons, Jeremy,
38, and Scott, 36, from my first marriage, and Parker,16, from this marriage. I
also have 2 stepdaughters, 1 stepson, 2 granddaughters, and 3 grandsons with the
possibility of more in the future.

My Job?
Currently we are Turkey
farmers. We raise turkeys for Louis Rich/Oscar Mayer
Foods and Cargill Foods. My husband and sons work
the farm for the most part. I used to do it, but a back injury keeps me from
helping much now.
Five years ago I went to work as a
Teaching Assistant at the local middle school, working in Special Education. I
spent the first 3 years with Learning Disabled students and the past 2 years
with children having more severe disabilities. I really enjoy working with
these children. They have touched my heart on many levels.
I live in Kershaw, South Carolina,
which is a rural area between Charlotte, NC and Columbia, SC. We have a
thriving area population of about 3,500 people.
