Tell us what's
happened to you since high school
(Feel free to tell us THE WHOLE STORY):
Since High School, I worked as a
secretary for Pomona Legal Aid, and then as a Peace Officer. I moved to
Washington State (Bellingham) approx. 20 min. from the Canadian Border. I lived
there for 15 yrs. There I worked as a Homeless Outreach (Case Manager) for the
Migrant Seasonal Farmworkers and the Homeless Population. Did some guest speaking
at Washington State University (Seattle), Western Washington University
(Bellingham) and
at Whatcom Community College, about Homelessness. I worked as a political
activist, met Cesar Chavez in '90 while working on various protests and did a
hunger strike. (Strike was settled after two weeks. Whew!) After my 3rd divorce,
I moved back to Pomona, in December of '94. I am currently teaching adult
school. Looking forward to upcoming reunion.
