Tell us what's happened to you since high school
(Feel free to tell us THE WHOLE STORY):

Well, after our graduation ceremonies myself and a couple of other nameless "72" grads celebrated, as I imagine most other also did. I think we were listening to the Stones, smoked a little, had a few beers, eventually fell asleep, woke up the next morning, blinked a few times and ............... it's 2012 and we are planning a 40th reunion!

Married? Kids?

I think so. This cute little girl has been hanging around for almost 25 years. Says we are married. Must have had sex at some point, about 21 years ago and then again, (can you believe how lucky a guy get) about 15 years ago. One is a junior at Kenyon College in Ohio, and the other a freshman at Webb in Claremont. I hope they are mine because I'm paying the tuitions.

Career? Job?

By default I went into the family business, Todd Memorial Chapel in Pomona and Claremont. Thirty six years later I'm trying to figure out what I really want to do. Once I figure it out I'm going for it.

Where do you live?

Moved to Claremont from Pomona in 1995 to get my oldest son into the Claremont School District. Ended up putting him in a private preschool in............ Pomona. Things seem to turn out this way for me.

Which of your classmates
are you most curious about?

Actually, seriously everyone. I find it very interesting to hear how everyones lives have turned out. Past reunions I have seeked out old friends. This upcoming reunion I want to talk to everyone I didn't know well. My old friends are boring. ( I'm sure it's a mutual feeling).

What was your favorite music then? Favorite song?

You know, It's Sunday night, 10:20 p.m., just got back from a friends daughter's college graduation party/open house. Had a few drinks, ....... I liked what everyone else liked.

What is the best music you've listened to recently?

Buster Poindexter....... try it, it will liven you up.

What is the best book you have read lately?

I love to read. Currently on my nightstand are a number of books, some of which are.- The Affair by Lee Child, Flashman by George MacDonald Fraser, A Small Furry Prayer by Steven Kotler, The Reversal by Michael Connelly, Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly, I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell by Tucker Max, The Swinger by a couple of guys, The Book of Basketball by Bill Simmons, The Lion by Nelson DeMille. Some of these I have read, some I am reading, some are next to be read. It's hard to pick an all time best, (specially when I can't even remember where I had lunch yesterday) but one that I really liked was The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet.

What is the best movie you've seen lately?

We enjoy going to the movies... a lot. Claremont has a small independent theater which shows ...... small indie movies. Yesterday we saw Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. I'm pretty easy to please, so usually the last movie I've seen is the best movie I've seen lately.

Additional Comments:

Come on guys. Lets build some enthusiasm for the upcoming reunion. I really enjoyed the 30th, let's make the 40th even better. The sad, unfortunate fact of life is that future reunions will probably be smaller. Let's make this one, one to remember. This is ironic coming from me, since I can't remember the past 40 years.
