Tell us what's
happened to you since high school
(Feel free to tell us THE WHOLE STORY):
Phase I. I went to MSAC f/t then p/t & worked f/t. While at SAC I
met
a woman who said "I heard you could sing" and asked me if I
wanted to be in their band. I excepted and sang in the group
called "Crystal Blue" where I met my husband of 23 yrs (in May).
I quit the band after a year & a half. Went to work for GTE
for 7 yrs. During that time we had 3 wonderful children (1 son
& 2 daughters-identical twins). I became a Domestic Engineer
(housewife) after our daughters were born.
Phase 2. I am a born again Christian as well as my husband
and children (boy, that was a challenge)!!! I am the Praise
& Worship Leader at our church in Pomona (Imani Temple Christian
Fellowship). Stop by and visit with us. Our son is currently
in the Navy, stationed in Norvolk, VA on the USS Kearsarge.
He will be going on a six month tour to the Mediterranean. My
daughters will be graduating from high school this June
(thank God) and on their way to college. One has been
excepted to CSLB, the other one...hummm we're waiting to
hear from CSLB & CS Domin.Hills.
I am to date (April 11, 2001). employed at Mpower Communications
in Ontario, CA. But the company is down sizing and we will
be laid off at the end of April. I'm not worried though,
because Jesus will supply all my needs, over and above all
that I could hope for.
