Tell us what's happened to you since high school
(Feel free to tell us THE WHOLE STORY):

Since graduating from PHS, here are some of the highlights: I accepted Jesus Christ, as my personal Lord and Savior, in January, 1975 - Best decision I've ever made!
I married my wonderful husband, Barry, on May 26, 1979, at Calvary Chapel of Riverside (now called Harvest) - Second best decision I've ever made! This year will be our 33rd Wedding Anniversary!

Married? Kids?

No kids. Our first 2 rescue kitties, "Agatha” Christie passed away a few days after her 24th birthday and "Amanda” Blake had to be put to sleep after her 21st birthday (cancer - the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go thru so far!), a year or so before “Agatha” passed away. A few months after “Agatha” passed, we rescued 2 sisters from the same litter, the adorable duo of “Emma” Peel and “Tara” King, named after the 2 female characters on the best Brit show ever, “The Avengers” (and I’m not talking about comic book characters!). They have been a total delight to us and will be 6 years old, at the end of July this year.

Career? Job?

After high school, I worked at Tastee-Freeze in La Verne, Grizwold's Smorgasbord in Claremont, Owl Rexall Drug in Pomona and at Bank of America's Trust Department in Downtown Pomona, until 2 weeks before I got married in 1979 and retired from the outside work force! Third best decision I've ever made! I've attended college at Mt. Sac, Chaffey, Riverside City and Palomar Colleges.

Where do you live?

We still love living about 10 minutes from the beach,
in beautiful Oceanside, Ca.

Which of your classmates
are you most curious about?

I've found a lot on Facebook, which is great, but there still are some I wonder about –
like “Sandy” (Cassandra) Caver and some others.

What was your favorite music then?

Chicago, Carole King, James Taylor,
Joni Mitchell, Creedence Clearwater Revival, etc.

Favorite song?

You've Got a Friend by James Taylor.

What is the best CD you've listened to recently?

For Christian worship, “Restore” by Bob Fitts. For other music, we really enjoy listening to original cast recordings from the Broadway shows we’ve been to see. I
also enjoy Adele’s music and enjoy singing along to “21” while I drive.

What is the best book you have read lately?

I recently read and listened to the CD recordings for, “Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic
Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy”
by Caroline Kennedy. It was very interesting to me, since I’ve always been interested in learning more about JFK’s assassination.

What is the best movie you've seen lately?

“Tangled” and coming in June, “Brave”, for 2 great animated features.
The most recent movie I’ve seen and enjoyed was “Hugo”.

Additional Comments:

I've enjoyed singing with various vocal groups, including the Riverside Master Chorale, Riverside Community College Concert Choir and Cantecum Novum (“New Song”, a Christian Classical vocal group) in Riverside, the Palomar Chorale at Palomar College in San Marcos, and I’ve enjoyed leading worship on worship teams and in gospel choirs at the churches I’ve attended over the years. With the Riverside Master Chorale, I especially enjoyed singing with a smaller contingent of the group, when we had our 5 country concert tour of Europe and with the Palomar Chorale, I especially enjoyed singing with a smaller contingent of that group as well, in our concert at Carnegie
Hall in New York City, in addition to our regularly scheduled concerts at "home", in various San Diego County venues. Besides singing, I enjoy quilting, studying the Bible and attending live theatre productions. With my husband, Barry, I have been involved in
acting with two Christian theatre groups - His Word shop in Redlands and Rapture Repertory Theatre in Orange County. I also enjoyed acting and singing in a production of Camelot at the Redlands Bowl in Redlands. We also enjoy going to some of the activities offered by the Disney D23 Club, collecting Disneyana, Hallmark Keepsake ornaments and going to Hallmark club events. I am the President of a local chapter of the Keepsake Ornament Club.

--- Thanks, Larry, for all your hard work, putting all this stuff together!!
